The Regional Inclusive Recycling Initiative (IRR) Organization consists of a Regional Consulting Board (RCB) and an Implementation Team (IT) which are supported by National Committees.
Roles and Activities:
- The Regional Consulting Board is responsible for strategic IRR management and is in charge of fulfilling the vision, and validating the implementation strategy and the annual operative plans. This Board meets periodically to discuss the IRR’s progress and orient the Implementation Team on key areas of implementation. The RCB is also in charge of connecting with the IRR’s strategic partners.
- The Implementation Team is responsible for planning and supervising execution of the IRR. It defines the IRR’s operative processes; identifies, analyzes and approves work proposals from different countries in the region and monitors and evaluates the impact of the projects carried out at the regional level.
- National Committees support the identification and development of inclusive recycling opportunities in individual countries in the Latin American and Caribbean region. National Committees supervise the implementation of national projects and promote local initiatives.
